Business Development Representative

Solidify is a small but fast growing digital software and services company located in beautiful Glastonbury, CT. Our mission is to evolve the way B2B companies conduct business online and help them succeed in today’s competitive environment.  Our suite of software includes B2B ecommerce and configure-price-quote (CPQ) solutions.

We are currently looking for a high-energy, driven Business Development Rep to sell our industry leading software solutions to our B2B target. This is an exciting opportunity to help drive continued growth for an innovative company in a high growth market. This person needs to have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. 


  • Work closely with sales to target new accounts, respond to inbound leads and help to identify qualified opportunities
  • Execute outbound prospecting techniques and qualifying leads at a pace and quality to consistently hit and exceed goals 
  • Work with marketing to gain more leads via demand generation programs
  • Develop and maintain opportunity pipeline that drives sales activities, ensuring that revenue goals are exceeded
  • Managing the sales cycle, performing lead qualification, arranging and providing demonstrations
  • Ability to present in person, on the phone, and via web conference to senior executives
  • Conceptualize business ideas to develop the best software solution for prospects and clients, in a consultative nature
  • Log activity consistently and accurately  
  • Represent the Brand in a positive and professional manner   

  • 1 - 3 years of experience in a sales / business development environment
  • Experience hunting for new customers
  • Demonstrate strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills 
  • Display a professional, detail-oriented and proactive approach
  • Hands on sales style including initial demonstrations of the product
  • High energy, sense of urgency and positive attitude 
  • Sales experience representing complex business user applications is preferred
  • Direct sales experience of SaaS software and / or selling to the manufacturing industry is a plus
  • Must be self-motivated, excited about a challenge and be passionate about the company they work for… a true Brand Ambassador

Web Application Developer

Solidify is a small but fast growing digital (web and software) agency located in beautiful Glastonbury, CT. We are looking for a Developer who has a strong aptitude to learn new technologies and strives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.


  • Collaborate with management and other staff on establishing the best development approach to a project.
  • Take designs and functional specifications and translate into the optimal product and user experience.
  • Interface with project management, creative and other cross functional teams to ensure product meets both client and user needs.
  • Develop applications (desktop, mobile and tablet) on the Solidify platform.
  • Support projects throughout all phases of the software development life cycle.
  • Commit to constantly improving skills and staying current on developments and trends in the industry.
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas, thoughts, and opinions during requirements and design sessions with the development team.
  • Actively share knowledge with team members and across the company.



  • Experience using a modern object oriented language. (C#, and the .Net framework) 
  • A solid understanding of object-oriented design and development 
  • Familiarity with Restful Web API Services.
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Angular JS is a plus.
  • Familiarity with unit testing methodologies and frameworks is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of database concepts
  • Experience with Structure Query Language (SQL). T-SQL Preferred
  • Working experience with content management systems is a plus
  • Strong problem solving / analytical skills
